So Sunday we took the girls to go see Santa. We timed it pretty good and didn't have to wait in line all that long. Good thing because poor Shelby wasn't feeling all that great. She has that dreaded cough and yucky nose that's been going around :(. All in all it wasnt' that bad of an experience. We got a decent picture and Alexia got to tell Santa what she wanted. Although they don't give you much time up there. Its go in, put the kids on santa ,back out of the way so they can take a few pics, tell santa "quickly" what you want, and go to another line to get your pics. It was rushed but with all the kids there to see santa I can totally see why they have it like that! Yay for Christmas its almost here!!

Thanksgiving!
Cookies
Ok so the night before Thanksgiving I decided to make some cookies and have Lexi and I frost them to take to my parents house the following day. Well I got a receipe for sugar cookies from my friend Melissa's blog and they were by far the BEST ever so thanks Melissa!! Anyway here are some pics of us frosting them...
And this is how Shelby helped with all the cookie fun!! Yummy Frosting!!!!!
3 C flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
2 beaten eggs
1 C sugar
1 C shortening
1 t. vanilla
Cream eggs and sugar together. Cream in shortening-add vanilla and dry ingredients. Add flour until blended-form into ball, taking sections to roll out and cut into shapes. Roll out thick and bake no more than 8 minutes at 350. Cookies should be white on the bottom as well as on the top. They look like they are nor done-they continue to bake as they cool. Let cool 5 minutes then remove from pan. Great for all holidays! Dont forget to frost them!
